Our CEO Hala Abdel Wadood and M&P’s ICT team celebrating with our partners at Google the launch of the gastronomical digital journey “Sofret Masr - A Taste of Egypt: https://lnkd.in/dQheZCDb, under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority. The online project chronicles the culture, dishes and places of Egypt’s culinary heritage from Ancient Egyptian to modern-day cuisine.

The project, which is currently available in English and Arabic, includes over 1700 high-resolution photographs, more than 60 expertly-curated stories and 30 videos that provide a detailed and immersive digital experience of Egyptian cuisine which brings the family together, whether from the Mediterranean to the red sea, and along the South Sinai mountains. It also deep dives into Egypt’s culinary history and the influence of different cultures, including Ptolemaic, Ottoman and Asian on modern day cuisine.
