Today, I reflect on the incredible eight-year journey I've had at Moharram & Partners | Public Affairs and Strategic Communications (M&P), the leading public policy and strategic communications firm in the middle east & Africa. Establishing this venture was a life-changing decision, filled with excitement and challenges. Milestone after milestone, I've been humbled by the blessings that have come my way.

Looking back, gratitude overwhelms me. M&P’s work has made an extraordinary impact, earning the trust of governments and loyalty of partners from Morocco to Pakistan, and from Egypt to South Africa. Armed with a steadfast belief in defying the impossible, we've created and saved jobs, attracted investments, and opened up endless possibilities for individuals and businesses. Through our dedication, we've demonstrated that positive change is achievable in our societies. This, my friends, is our enduring legacy.

Today, as I announce a significant leadership transition within the company, I write these words with a mixture of emotions. After nearly eight years at the helm of M&P, I have made the heartfelt decision to step down as CEO. This transition, though bittersweet, is fueled by the utmost confidence I have in our exceptional leadership team at M&P. As Chairman, I will be taking an active role in the reorganization of the company until the end of the first quarter in 2024 and will always remain committed to providing strategic support and guidance to the executive team.

It is with immense pleasure that I introduce Hala Abdel Wadood as our new CEO. Hala brings with her an impressive background and a wealth of experience that will undoubtedly propel M&P to even greater heights of success. I have unwavering faith in her abilities and know that she will lead our company with passion, integrity, and unwavering dedication.

As Chairman, I express deep gratitude to our current and former staff members for their unwavering support and belief in M&P’s vision. You have been the pillars of my strength, the driving force behind my achievements, and the reason why I have grown both as a human being and as a CEO. I'd also like to thank our competition for pushing our limits and making us a better company.

Leading this team has been the honor of a lifetime, and I firmly believe that under Hala's visionary leadership, our company will flourish and leave a lasting mark. Together, we'll embrace limitless opportunities, making a positive impact on our industry and the region.
